Ted Hamblin
( 1910 - 1973)

Edward Joseph Hamblin was a Relief Signalman in the Reading area, first for the Great Western Railway then for British Rail. Ted worked various boxes in the area, including East Main, West Main and Southcote Junction, before moving to the newly built Reading Panel Signal Box when it opened in 1965.
